Onni Group of Companies (Onni) has made a donation of $25,000 to benefit the Mental Health Campaign at Richmond Hospital.

The campaign is a project focused on creating a welcoming, respectful, and uplifting environment for the in-patient acute mental health care unit at the hospital.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all of us, and a serious but seldom discussed part of it has been the effects it has had on people’s mental health,” said Duncan Wlodarczak, chief of staff at Onni Group of Companies.

“Richmond Hospital Foundation’s focus on mental health has never been more important. As a longstanding member of the community here in Richmond, Onni is pleased to support Richmond Hospital Foundation’s Mental Health Campaign.”

Wlodarzcak added that they are “committed to building thriving, complete communities” by giving back to the communities that are being built.

“Onni has brought forward world-class developments in Richmond and continue to demonstrate their commitment to the future of urban communities by dedicating $25,000 towards Richmond Hospital Foundation’s Mental Health campaign,” said Natalie Meixner, president and CEO of Richmond Hospital Foundation.

“Their donation will help transform the physical in-patient acute mental health care unit into a space that fully supports Person and Family Centred Care, a proven model in improving patient experiences along with higher satisfaction and overall better health results.”
