Danny the Champion of the World by Roald Dahl Review by Danielle, age 10

This book is about a boy name Danny. He lives in a gypsy caravan with his father, who never runs out of stories to tell. One night, his father tells him a shocking secret. Now the secret is out and they are on a wonderful adventure. Until Mr. Hazell shows up and claims what is his. I like this book because there was a lot of thought put into it. This great book is filled from front to back with a wonderful adventure. The book is filled with emotions, excitement, suspense, joyfulness, anxiety, apprehension, scary stuff and adventures. This book would beat any TV show. Roald Dahl is an amazing author - in my opinion, the best in the world! There is only one bad thing about this book; you can't put it down!

Bone Handbook by Jeff Smith Review by Megan, Age 12

This book is about the history of the Bone series, the creators and behind the scenes. It tells you information about the characters. Did you know Thorn Harvester was inspired by Jeff's wife Vijaya? I like this book because it gives information about the life of Jeff Smith and describes how Bone was created. It also gives information about each character. This book has beautiful graphics that show the details and emotions of the series. I give this book a 4/5. I recommend this book for all ages who love Bone or just love reading.

Tremendous Tunnels by Ian Graham Review by James, Age 7

This book is about tunnels around the world and how they are built. The tunnels in the book are the New York City Subway, the Mont Blanc tunnel, the Seikan tunnel, the Channel tunnel and more! I like this book because it has many tunnels and I like tunnels. I also like to build tunnels out of Lego. I wonder if there is such a thing as a bridgetunnel? My favourite tunnel in the book is the Channel Tunnel, because it is actually three tunnels; two for trains and one for service vehicles. I recommend this book to library customers.
