Richmond Country Club will be the place next Monday (May 26) to try out your spring swing and give the Canucks Autism Network (CAN) a hand.

That’s when the 2014 RJDS (Richmond Jewish Day School) and & Beth Tikvah Congregation Annual Charity Golf Tournament tees off.

The event is the single largest annual fundraising event for both organizations. And the tournament and dinner are expected to sell-out, so those who are interested are encouraged to register early to avoid disappointment.

This year, the charitable organization benefiting from the tournament will be the Canucks Autism Network, which will receive 10 per cent of the tournament’s net proceeds.

CAN provides year-round, innovative, high quality sports, recreational, social and employment related programs for individuals and families living with autism, while building awareness and capacity

through community networks across British Columbia.

Spots for the golfing portion are almost sold out. And $95 gets you into the dinner only portion of the evening when live and silent auctions will be held that include some fantastic items including an a RCMP ride-along, a boat patrol ride-along, and a Canucks VIP Game Experience, plus much more.

CBC’s Shane Foxman will be on hand to handle the emcee duties, and Fin the Whale will also pay a visit.
