Trio arrested after alleged $6K shoplifting incident at Vancouver Lululemon

The three have each been charged with theft over $5,000.

Three people have been arrested after an alleged $6,000 shoplifting incident at a downtown Vancouver Lululemon.

Three people are facing theft charges after allegedly stealing $6,000 worth of clothing in downtown Vancouver.

The incident happened Monday, Feb. 5 at the Robson Street Lululemon, according to the Vancouver Police Department (VPD).

"A known shoplifter and a couple of his friends returned to a Robson Street retailer on Monday and stole over $6,000 in merchandise before fleeing in a taxi," states the VPD in a social media post.

Police were able to locate the cab, arrest the trio, and recover the items.

The three have each been charged with theft over $5,000, VPD spokesperson Sgt. Steve Addison tells Vancouver Is Awesome. The stolen merchandise has been returned to the Lululemon store.

Rocky Grey, Brandy Shingoose and Gary Shingoose are facing charges related to the incident.
