Ebisu Richmond closed its doors last Sunday.

Sushi restaurant Ebisu, a fixture at Ackroyd and No. 3 roads for 30 years, has closed its doors.

The closure announcement was made on Facebook saying "Thank you Richmond for over 30 years."

The Facebook post directed customers to two sushi restaurants in Vancouver, its "sister restaurants," Kamei on Broadway and Kamei Royale.

The post says customers should tell staff at these two restaurants that they are a "Richmond Ebisu customer" and they'll receive a 15-per-cent discount, noting some restrictions may apply. The discount will continue until March 31.

Ebisu Richmond closed on Sunday, Feb. 25.
