Baked pork chop rice among Hong Kong dishes served at new Richmond food court stall

The newest addition to Richmond’s food scene is a nostalgic nod to Hong Kong cafe diners.

A new Hong Kong-style food stall has opened inside a Richmond plaza food court.

Wasan Cafe opened earlier this month in the corner of Pacific Plaza's food court on Odlin Crescent at Cambie Street.

The food vendor serves up classic Hong Kong cafe-style dishes such as ham in macaroni soup, satay beef with vermicelli and steamed glutinous rice with chicken.

Other items on the menu are crispy chicken cutlet sandwiches, baked pork chop rice and ginger scallion chicken on noodles.

Each menu item includes a hot drink from a list of 10 items, including Hong Kong milk tea, coffee and lemon tea.

Wasan Cafe is open every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 8888 Odlin Cres.
