Four Richmond candidates running in the upcoming federal election will talk about food security, access to food, nutrition, health and agriculture this Thursday evening at KPU.
The event, called Eat Think Vote, will be hosted by the Institute for Sustainable Food Systems at Kwantlen Polytechnic University and is one of several all-candidates discussions taking place across the country on food security.
The four candidates are Joe Peschisolido, the incumbent in Steveston-Richmond East; Francoise Raunet, Green candidate for Richmond Centre; Ivan Pak, Richmond Centre candidate for the People’s Party of Canada; and Jaeden dela Torre, the 18-year old NDP candidate for Steveston-Richmond East.
The event will be moderated by KPU’s Naomi Robert from the Institute for Sustainable Food Systems.
Eat Think Vote takes place Thursday, Sept. 26 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Melville Centre, KPU Richmond, 8771 Lansdowne Rd.
