The final all-candidates meeting before Richmond’s civic election is being held Wednesday evening at Steveston Community Centre.

It’s hosted by the Steveston Community Society, and begins at 7 p.m.

Members of the public are invited to come listen to candidates introduce themselves. Mayoral candidates will have four minutes to speak and councillor candidates will have two. After a refreshment break, the audience will have a chance to mingle with candidates and ask them questions.

Saturday is general election day, and you can check if you’re registered to vote on the City of Richmond’s election website or on the Richmond Election app. You can still register at the polling station on Saturday by bringing two pieces of ID that together include your name, address and signature.

Check out the “Where do I vote” tool online or the voter card you received in the mail to find out where to vote.

Check the Richmond News’ election coverage for bios of council, mayoral and trustee candidates and view their stances on key issues.
