Richmond Public Library (Cambie branch) book sale

In need of a good read? RPL’s Cambie branch is hosting a book sale, with adult and children’s books on sale for $2 each. Visitors should bring cash, as well as their own bags or boxes.

Noon – 3 p.m.

Head over to Indiospirit at Richmond Centre to meet Bill Arnott, who will be speaking about his new book Gone Viking: A Travel Saga, which chronicles his journey across the globe, following the footsteps of the Vikings.

7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

Harvest moon walk

If you need another reason to head out to Iona Beach, you’re in luck. This weekend you can join a moonlit walk and see the park in a different light. Register for the event at MetroVancouver.org/Events/Calendar/Richmond/1140/Harvest-Moon-Walk. Tickets cost $8.50 for adults and $6.50 for seniors.
