Ferris elementary in central Richmond is inviting the whole community to come out and enjoy “Music in the Park” on Wednesday afternoon.
The outdoor concert, set for the school’s playground at 3 p.m., will be free, as will post-concert refreshments.
Taking centre stage at the event – which is supported by the City of Richmond’s Neighbourhood Celebration Grant – will be the school’s Lunch Hour Band.
The invitation us being extended beyond the school community to friends and neighbours to come and enjoy the music.
The school is close to Blundell and Gilbert roads.
