With the weather expecting to improve later this week, the City of Richmond is encouraging community members to stay active while enjoying public artworks around the city.
According to the City of Richmond, the 12-kilometre Cycling Art Tour map was created to get residents outdoors and celebrate public artworks around the city.
“The artworks comprising the tour underscore the power and resilience of community, connection, togetherness, home and place,” said the city’s website.
The self-guided “tour” starts at the City Centre Community Centre and stops at 12 locations including the Richmond Cultural Centre, Branscombe House, Paulik Neighbourhood Park and more.
It takes about a one and a half hour to cycling the full trip, according to the city's website.
Residents are reminded to follow cycling regulations and stay safe.
