Members of the Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation donated $40,000 to Richmond Hospital Foundation’s COVID-19 Response Fund to help purchase two vital sign monitors.
This is in addition to the $28,000 that was donated to the orthopedic team, which went towards an external fixator – a metal frame to stabilize broken bones – prior to the pandemic.
For the last 14 years, the Tzu Chi Foundation has donated over $489,000 in support to local health care in the Richmond community.
