As funny as this event sounds, the Richmond Centre for Disabilities is hosting a laughter yoga session in collaboration with the Richmond Laughter Club to help people destress on Jan. 28.
Laughter yoga is an exercise which involves voluntary laughter and is believed to have similar benefits as spontaneous laughter.
There will be group activities, mindfulness, simple movements, deep breathing exercises and of course laughter.
Attendees are asked to bring water, wear loose clothing and comfortable shoes.
The family-friendly event takes places at the Richmond Centre for Disabilities inside Lansdowne Mall from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Entry will be through the loading dock door located between Sleep Country and No. 9 Restaurant using the buzzer code #844.
