A call is being made for Richmond’s visual artists who are interested in exhibiting their own work in the city.

Artists residing in Richmond are encouraged to submit proposals to have their artwork displayed on the No. 3 Road art columns as part of the city’s Public Art Program.

The city is looking for artworks in mixed-media, painting, illustration, photography, printmaking, drawing and other mediums that can be reproduced digitally.

Six artists will receive an artist fee of $1,500 for four print-ready digital artwork files with the City of Richmond covering the production and installation costs.

The exhibitions will run from Feb. 1 to July 31, 2021 and from Sept. 1, 2021 to Jan. 31, 2022.

Submission deadline is Monday, Nov. 16 at 5 p.m. and can be submitted to publicart@richmond.ca
