Lipont Place, a Richmond-based art gallery, will present its artwork collection on an international stage.

Works from eight artists will be displayed at the Art Vancouver fair, which claims to be Western Canada’s largest fine arts fair, from Thursday, April 25 to Sunday, April 28.

The gallery will showcase artworks from photographers Fang Tong, Phyllis Schwartz, Edward Peck and Sand Wan as well as paintings from artists Monica Gewurz, Farahnaz Samari, June Yun and Jenny Wang.

Founded in 2015 by the non-profit Vancouver Visual Art Foundation, Art Vancouver features artworks from art galleries and artists across Canada and around the world.

The fair is dedicated to raising awareness about the up and coming art scene in Western Canada, according to the website.

In 2018, Art Vancouver had more than 8,000 attendees and 90 exhibitors.

This year’s Art Vancouver fair will be held at the Vancouver convention centre east and artworks presented by Lipont Place will be at booth #500.
