Six Richmond choirs are joining together later this month for the 11th annual Richmond Sings concert, all to raise funds for the Rotary Hospice House.

On April 30, Richmond Orchestra and Chorus (ROCA), Pacific Northwest Music Academy, the Richmond Singers, the Gilmore Park United Church choir and the Canada Melody Choir will all perform at Fraserview MB Church.

The concert is by donation, and 100 per cent of ticket sales will be given to the Richmond-based hospice.

“This well-established charity in Richmond is dedicated to supporting people with life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses, along with their families,” says an emailed statement from ROCA. “Please join us for a wonderful night of entertainment for a very worthy cause.”

The concert is scheduled for 7 to 8:30 p.m. on April 30 at 11295 Mellis Dr.
