The Richmond Singers – an all-female choir consisting of 55 members – is singing its way to Culture Days with an open rehearsal on Sept. 28.

Richmondites are welcomed to sing along or sit back and listen through the rehearsal.

This year, the choir is saying farewell to Natasha Neufeld, who has been the artistic director since 2004, and are welcoming their new director, Fabiana Katz.

They will start off the event with a vocal warm-up, led by Katz, to be followed with an “introduction to new music.”

Everyone will have a chance to ask questions and chat with the choir members, the director and even the accompanist while enjoying refreshments during their break.

The event will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at Broadmoor Church located at 8140 Saunders Road.
