Thirty-two businesses in Steveston have adopted a nation for the World Cup of soccer and are hosting a National Day each day.
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, sees Steveston Community Society celebrate Ghana Day, Britannia Heritage Shipyard mark Algeria Day and Damien's Belgian Waffles host, of course, Belgium Day.
*ANAF will host the party for the final two days of the World Cup Village, July 12 and 13. Tickets costing $25 are on sale at Bean and Beyond, with a grand prize of a return trip for two within B.C., courtesy of Pacific Coastal Airlines.
