A Richmond pub is running a World Cup pool to raise money for the Rick Hansen Foundation.

Legends Pub, at 9031 Blundell Rd, is running the pool in aid of the charity, but needs to sell 60 tickets to make it work.

A number of the tickets, priced at $20 each, are still available, with an Apple i-Pad as a prize for the winner at the end of the month-long tournament in Brazil, which kicks off on Thursday, June 12.

Retired Richmond resident Dave Summers is running the pool for the pub and he’s urging all soccer fans to log onto stevestonworldcup.com to enter the competition.

“I’ve been running these things for World Cups for years because I just love soccer, I want everyone to have fun and maybe raise some money for charity in the process,” said Summers.

Anyone interested should simply log onto the stevestonworldcup.com website.
