Simply pick a day of the week, and L.A. Grill and Bistro at Blundell Centre has a daily special that will suit your tastes and budget.
“Variety and value are certainly on the menu, and it’s keeping our customers coming back,” says L.A. Grill’s Steve Chan, who adds that the chicken souvlaki is one of the most popular dishes drawing customers.
“The chicken is tender, flavourful and comes with rice pilaf, potato, pita bread and tzatziki sauce,” he says.
For the lunchtime special, all of that is only $7 when you purchase a beverage.
In fact, all of L.A. Grill’s lunchtime specials are $7.
“We are able to keep our prices competitive for top quality dishes because of the volume of business we do,” Chan says.
Also on the lunch special list Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. are the chicken strips, chicken wrap, cheeseburger, a daily soup with and BLT sandwich or Caesar salad, fettuccini Alfredo, curry penne, and spicy tomato linguine.
“For about what you’d pay for a traditional fast-food meal, you get a proper, sit-down, fully licensed restaurant experience,” Chan says.
If you are looking for dinner (Monday to Saturday from 4 p.m. - 10 p.m.) or a late-night meal (dine-in only Monday to Saturday from 8:30 p.m. -10:30 p.m.), the list of options keeps on coming at L.A. Grill and Bistro.
On Mondays, a six-ounce New York steak with rice, green salad and garlic toast is just $10 - again, with the purchase of a beverage. For $14, you can also enjoy souvlaki and garlic prawns.
On Tuesdays, garlic prawns ($10) and salmon and prawns ($14) are on the list.
Wednesdays feature chicken souvlaki ($10) and salmon and prawns ($14). On Thursdays there’s grilled salmon ($10), and souvlaki and prawns ($14). And from Monday to Saturday, you can indulge with steak and prawns ($16).
If you are looking for a meal later in the evening, L.A. Grill and Bistro has a selection of smaller, lighter options; all served Monday to Saturday.
For just $4, there’s tzatziki and pita, or salsa and chips. Delicious melted mozzarella and cheddar is on the cheese garlic bread for $5. Just $6 gets you freshly breaded zucchini sticks.
And for $6.50, you can be enjoying chicken strips with house-made honey mustard sauce or calamari with tzatziki sauce.
The choice of specials goes on.
