HYCITY HUB, an innovative Richmond co-working HUB workspace for entrepreneurs, independents, and creative professionals, is expanding its offerings to include studio space for film and recording.
“With the speed and simplicity of the Internet and the rise of social media platforms, there are more people tapping into this industry and becoming vloggers and influencers on their own,” HYCITY HUB Executive Director Victoir Wu says.
“As a business, creating a professional setting is really important for not only your credibility but also for how you want your business to be seen by potentially millions of viewers.”
To help accommodate rising online influencers, HYCITY HUB is offering day passes to creative spaces that come equipped with professional lighting and sound equipment.
“Our day passes for private rooms will provide access to creating a vlog or podcast in a very professional setting while also having full access to our well-designed mezzanine lounge and amenity area,” Wu says.
“Apart from that, our enclosed and private rooms also provide a secured and quiet environment for customers who want to just use it for their virtual meetings as well.”
Day passes are available for individual purchases or in bundles of 10 at a discount.
Previously, work space was available on a monthly basis, but now, HYCITY HUB is extending day passes for its hot desks and private offices.
“I was really seeing an increase in demand for people who just needed a place to work for the day. They want a safer alternative than going down to their local coffee shop,” Wu says.
“Customers want a lower commitment day-access membership option so that they can remain mobile in where they work. It’s about giving those additional professionals coming in a place for a day without the commitment.”
To ensure a safe and hygienic workplace that will set its members at ease, HYCITY HUB is rolling out new health and safety practices. They will also be providing disposable face masks and hand sanitizer to clients and the space will operate at limited capacity to ensure social distancing.
