In the wake of COVID-19, health and wellness are at the top of mind.
Meiga Health Group has been working closely with laboratories and renowned manufacturers across Canada to meet the growing demand for natural health products that fight the cold and flu while boosting immunity.
The company’s latest venture is a product that promises to slow down the aging process.
“We collaborated with one of the largest GMP-certified pharmaceutical and natural product manufacturers in British Columbia to develop a unique Nicotinamide Mononucleotide (NMN) and Pyrroloquinoline Quinone Disodium Salt (PQQ) formula to launch our Ensonkan™ NMN 12000 + PQQ supplement,” Meiga Health Canada director and chief representative, Victoir Wu says.
“This superior product can optimize human cell functions and is made to support everything from energy levels to immunity. The pills are gluten-free and contain no artificial colours, preservatives or additives and are suitable for vegans.”
The NMN supplement is currently only sold on the Asian market.
The Meiga Health research and development team is also developing NMN-based face cream and facial masks.
Meiga Health refers to its NMN supplement as the “fountain of youth”. Studies suggest that the ingredient shows promising health and longevity benefits while also boosting the immune system. Studies indicate that PQQ can promote cognitive health and memory.
“NMN is a relatively new and expensive ingredient, so there are very few companies who can offer this product,” Wu says.
To help promote its NMN supplement, Meiga Health has tapped Anne Heung Hoi Lan as its brand ambassador. Heung is a Hong Kong-born Canadian actress and model who studied economics at the University of British Columbia. She was the winner of Miss Hong Kong 1998 and also won three other awards including Miss Photogenic, Miss Hospitality and Miss International Style.
“We’re excited to have her on board. She’s the perfect person to get the word out about this product,” Wu says.
