Blundell Centre McDonald’s is welcoming guests to a revamped environment.

“From the refreshed exterior and speedier drive-thru to the larger capacity dine-in area and re-designed kitchen, there’s plenty new to see and experience here,” says owner/operator Bill Chao.

“We decided it was time to refresh the restaurant (originally opened in 1987) and get the changes completed in time to welcome back our guests”

The renovations took three months to complete and were finished in January of this year.

The most noticeable change is the exterior, which is now more contemporary and in keeping with the rest of the mall.

More curb-side delivery parking has been added, and a pair of electric vehicle charging stations are now available for use; you can replenish your EV’s battery while enjoy McDonald’s classics.

Plus, the drive-thru now accommodates dual lanes to serve guests more efficiently.

Visitors can now enjoy improved seating, with room for an extra 12 diners and more outdoor patio seating, all without changing the footprint of the building.

And behind the scenes, improvements to the kitchen included a larger area dedicated to producing beverages.

“We are big on coffee, specialty coffees, and smoothies. We created a separate area where staff can efficiently use new equipment to craft the drinks our customers enjoy so much,” Chao says, adding other updates in the kitchen that included more energy-efficient equipment.

Chao confirms that the restaurant is also open for delivery through Skip the Dishes, UberEats and DoorDash.
