The Baseliners, a band made up of RTC members, provided the music while Farooq Rai performed Master of Ceremony duties. Members danced, noshed on a selection of appetizers and sang the occasional Christmas carol.

The highlight of the evening was a presentation made by RTC president Kim Jensen to Mayor Brodie — a former RTC member — for his continued support of tennis in Richmond.

The 60-plus-year-old club, located in Minoru Park off of Gilbert Road, offers year-round play with outdoor and indoor courts, plus clubhouse facilities. For more information visit
