Last November, a break-in caused unexpected damage and forced Richmond E-Bike to close for extensive repairs and upgrades. While the incident was a setback, it also created space for renewal.
“The break-in was difficult — not just financially, but emotionally. But we quickly realized we weren’t just protecting a business; we were standing up for a community we’ve built over the years,” says Tram Pham, sales manager of Richmond E-Bike. “Our customers, our family and the love we have for e-bikes gave us the strength to rebuild. We knew we weren’t done — not even close.”
Now, the shop is ready to roll into a new chapter—brighter, more welcoming and more committed than ever to getting Richmond moving.

“We’ve redesigned the layout to be more open, welcoming and interactive,” adds Pham. “We’ve added better lighting, new displays for our Thunder e-bikes and dedicated spaces for test ride consultations and service intake. Security is stronger, but so is the sense of care we’ve put into every corner. This summer, we want to see more Thunder bikes on the streets, more families riding together and more smiles coming through our door.”
