First elected in 2005, Grace is a three-term Richmond School Trustee. She has served as Vice Chairperson of the Richmond Board of Education.
During her years of service as a School Trustee, Grace has accomplished the followings:
Been accessible, visible, accountable and transparent.
Served as Chairperson of Audit, Policy, Personnel & Finance Committees, and a member on various School Board committees.
Served as a member of Council/Board Liaison Committee, Richmond Sister City Committee, and Richmond childcare Development Advisory committee.
Professionally Grace is a Certified Financial Planner. As an active volunteer, her community involvement includes: badminton coach, dry grad, Mount St. Joseph Hospital Foundation, Richmond Youth Concert Band, BCIT Alumni Association, Rick Hansen Wheel-in-Motion Committee, and Richmond Sunset Rotary Club.
If elected to city council, Grace will work hard to represent the concerns of Richmond residents by:
Improving public consultation processes.
Collaborating with all stakeholders to develop creative solutions.
Developing plans to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse population.
Supporting housing options that are diverse and affordable.
Creating more opportunities to deliver effective and efficient public services.
