Debbie Tablotney
Richmond Board of Education candidate Debbie Tablotney. Oct. 2014

As a Richmond resident since 1982, I’m honored to have served three terms as School Trustee. I’ve been an active volunteer in the district for 26 years and am an unwavering advocate for public education, fine-arts/music programs, and students with learning challenges/special needs.

I operate from a position of principle-centered leadership which has allowed me to make difficult decisions while always putting the student first.  I’m an Insurance Broker with our family run Richmond Insurance firm.

I have and will advocate for Student centered leadership opportunities/programs, promote learning through Critical thinking skills/innovative learning and expanded educational opportunities through technology.

I will continue to provide experienced fiscal leadership in the management of our facilities as demographic changes will necessitate the realignment of our facilities.
