2014 Richmond City Council candidate Carol Day for RITE Richmond

Carol Day

Carol Day is a lifelong Richmond resident who has operated her sign business here for over 30 years. For the past 20 years, she has been an activist who listens to you and gets results.

For various needs, Carol has addressed council and, if ignored, persevered until they listened.

Carol has drawn on her marketing skills to lead campaigns to cushion out-of-control developments. She believes in smart projects that enhance neighbourhoods, not lobbyists that try to manipulate the system.

A former school trustee, Carol Day is a leader of VAPOR to reduce YVR jet fuel risks, CALMR for lawful Lingyen temple expansion, and the Garden City Conservation Society to save natural legacies.

A hard worker, Carol is ready to take on any situation and when asked a question, will always give you a straight answer.

Carol has proven to be an honest, passionate spokesperson for the citizens. If elected, she will continue to be accountable to the public. She will host quarterly meetings to report on issues and her progress.

Neighbourhoods need Carol Day to empower them. Council needs Carol too.

Please vote for the Day * Wolfe Team and the RITE Richmond Trustee team for effective representation.
