Richmond - The Editor, Re: "Ground breaks on $80 million Minoru complex," News, July 23.Councillors (Harold) Steves and (Bill) McNulty were quick to express their "concerns and regrets" about not being able to finance a 50-metre pool at the new complex at Minoru.Maybe if they hadn't squandered all those millions on their beloved Olympic Oval white elephant (which always took top priority), there might have been funds available to build this topclass facility.Robert M.
