I was blessed with sighting a coyote on the large Garden City Lands the other day. I was glad to see that it looked well fed. What is in store for this coyote and other creatures of Richmond?
With the non-stop glut of developments, which the developers volunteer to participate to respect environmentally sensitive areas, they are doomed for extinction.
Our natural spaces have been decimated (2.2 per cent of land area is classified as natural) with no attention paid to the tax payers who demand accountability.
The city is no longer livable. I remember when I did not have to wash my car windows for weeks, the air was so clean.
Now, in one day, they are dirty. My balcony surface floor is always black with soot.
Trees are the lungs of planet. We are a part of nature, do they not understand that at City Hall? Is it any wonder that asthma rates are ever-increasing?
