Re: "Richmond reaches out to homeless," News, Sept. 21.
I personally think that it is a noble cause for Richmond people to help their homeless citizens. It's important to help our community because a large number of people in our city are homeless.
It makes me happy that someone has decided to do something about it. I really appreciate and respect all the volunteers who decided to help out and try to make a difference. I'm not exactly sure how many of these events for the homeless are organized, but I hope they happen often.
It makes me sad to think there are people in our city who don't have a home, family, or just a warm blanket. One day, I hope to be making a difference in our world.
