The Editor, "Take a close look at this picture," Friday Feature, Sept. 6. I want to thank Mr.Diaz for his willingness to share his experience with such openness and frankness.
The more we talk about mental health and its impact on lives, the further we can go to chipping away at the stigma which surrounds it.
Diaz' story also witnesses to the importance of the support and understanding from family and community members in a person's struggle with mental illness.
And as seen in Diaz's experience, there is so much hope.
