Isn't it wonderful that Mayor Brodie and cohorts are going on vacation to China on our leftover taxes?
I can think of other ways to spend our tax money. How about filling in the gaping hole of a ditch in front of my house?
Several guests to my house have fallen into it. It is dark, unmarked and deep. If not fill it in, at least put a light on the pole or put fenc-
ing of some kind around it.
I have complained to the city several months ago and have yet to hear one word back from anyone.
But the mayor and council think by jetting off to a faraway land, they will be doing what exactly?
There's always another election and the taxpayers have long memories. Bon voyage, Mr. Brodie.
