There are two items in the news for the past few days that have gotten my attention.
The first is the decision of the TransLink Board to reverse its decision to discontinue the TaxiSaver program.
TaxiSavers will continue to be sold by TransLink. So to TransLink and the board, I say thank you and a big kudos to you for doing the right thing, sooner rather than later.
To the B.C. government for their Port Mann Bridge ads - am I excited about the new bridge? Oh yeah.
That will cost us, the taxpayers, more than $400,000. To tell us what we already know and for leaving out the important fact that it will be a toll bridge - a big raspberry!
Am I excited about the new toll? Oh no!
