PriceSmart not so smart with parking plan

As many people know, Save-On-Foods on Ackroyd Road has undergone major renovations and changed the name to PriceSmart, but still under the same ownership. I've shopped at this Save-On for years and was quite happy with the store and staff.

As many people know, Save-On-Foods on Ackroyd Road has undergone major renovations and changed the name to PriceSmart, but still under the same ownership.

I've shopped at this Save-On for years and was quite happy with the store and staff.

The change of name was not a big deal and did offer some even lower prices on certain products.

Now it's up and running and I must say, the store is huge and very impressive. The problem is, you can no longer get a parking spot in the lot near the store, let alone on the other end of the parking lot.

The staff level increased big time (they too park in the lot) and of course more shoppers. It's like a "Christmas mall" parking frenzy every time.

How can you create a "big box store" and not address the parking? This is a large strip mall with many other businesses.

This will also impact them I'm sure. Is there no regulation to this situation?

It's way too stressful to shop there anymore because of the parking. That's too bad, and it also includes the smaller stores I visit off and on.

I love the new store, but I can no longer shop for a "full shopping cart" of product. That's because I don't want to push the cart basically to No. 3 Road.

Much easier to go elsewhere.
