The Editor,

Re: "Keeping a lookout for Mrs. Lily," Letters, Aug. 15.

May I express a very big heartwarming thank you to yourself, coworkers and all the readers of Richmond News, for printing my letter "Keep a lookout for Mrs Lily."

Only yesterday, my mother-in-law Mrs. Cicily Stafford of Chapel-en-le-frith in Derbyshire, England received a telephone call from Mrs. Lily Jones after reading our letter in the Richmond News.

Apparently, she had been moved after her old apartment block had been demolished and her telephone number changed.

Both these two old friends cried during their telephone reunion yesterday.

And to top it off, it was Mrs. Lily Jones' 80th birthday yesterday. The reunion, as Mrs Lily Jones said, was the best gift she could possibly have had.

Thank you once again for all your help in bringing these two friends together again. Mrs. Cicily Stafford also wants to express her gratitude to you all at Richmond News.

Thank you once again.
