Letters: Congrats to MLAs-elect in Richmond

Dear Editor, I would like to commend you and your staff for your excellent coverage of the just concluded provincial election.
Winners
(Clockwise) Teresa Wat (BC Liberal), Aman Singh (NDP) and Kelly Greene (NDP) have been declared winners in their ridings as of 11:30 Saturday, although hundreds of mail-in ballots are still expected. Henry Yao is leading in Richmond South Centre.

Dear Editor,

I would like to commend you and your staff for your excellent coverage of the just concluded provincial election.

Every candidate, regardless of his or her political affiliation, deserves our thanks and appreciation for putting their name forward for public office. It takes a lot of courage, time and effort to do so.

I am sure our newly elected MLAs — Kelly Greene, Aman Singh and Teresa Wat as well as the winner in Richmond South Centre (Alexa Loo or Henry Yao) — will do an excellent job in representing us in Victoria. I offer my congratulations to all of them for participating in the democratic process.

John Horgan and his majority government are now in an excellent position to serve British Columbians to the best of their ability.

Balwant Sanghera
