Letter: Why not bus kids between school districts?

Dear Editor,

What about school buses?

According to Eve Edmonds’ article, there are not enough children to fill the schools in Richmond at this time.

East Richmond has school buses. South Surrey has school buses. Rural communities have school buses. Is there any reason school buses can’t be used in urban areas?

When Surrey schools have up to nine portables per school, in my opinion, keeping half filled schools open is not the best way to spend education dollars.
