Many of us who walk the paths of the various school and community parks within Richmond know the perils of trying to avoid the plague of “geese droppings” after the birds have swooped in for a feeding of grass.
Just recently, while walking my dog at the Steveston-London park, I was pleasantly surprised to see a local resident out hand-sweeping the walking paths after a “fresh” deluge of droppings.
Many thanks to this anonymous individual who worked for hours at a very tedious task so that the paths would be clean for all of us to enjoy our daily walk. It is so enlightening to see people within our community putting their energies into tasks that benefit others.
I, for one, am very grateful! Thank you.
