Re: “Steveston rubber duck race...” News, Aug. 2.
Thank you to so many people who contributed and enabled us to help those who have been affected by the wildfires, helping to put their lives back together again.
The balance of the proceeds will go towards funding Steveston Rotary Local Projects.
These include distributing food hampers to help families at Christmas time and providing our seniors with a festive meal, supporting St. Albans Church Shelter, Fraser Marine Rescue and providing dictionaries to Grade 4 students.
All donations from our fundraisers go directly to help others. Thank you.
