During my years at Richmond high, I had the opportunity to be coached by Coach Bill McKittrick when he coached the field lacrosse team in 1974.
I was the sports editor for the school annual and “Coach” was the football coach for the Colts in the good old years, and he always kept me informed.
Not only was he a great coach and teacher, but he was one of those in school that you could always look up to — always ready to help the students. I didn’t see Coach much after my Richmond High years, but his legacy stayed with me.
Rest in peace, Coach, you were and will always be an influence in my life.
