Dear Editor,
What a waste of taxpayer money to spend $5 million on a lawn bowling clubhouse. There are sports that don’t even have basic facilities like washrooms and drinking water.
I see my taxes going up and how this council spends money like drunken sailors.
We are going to remember the names of councillors who voted for the motion in the next election. Trust me, the 100-odd votes of rich folks who you get from the Lawn Bowling Club will be negated by the thousands appalled at how you spend our money.
