Now I can understand the logic behind Quebec's language law. I could never understand why a government would deem it necessary to implement such a law regarding the use of French in Quebec.
Our city council has now made it clear to me why the law was implimented in Quebec - to protect one of the official languages of Canada.
Our city council and our mayor would not act regarding the use of one of the offical languages of Canada, even if they were presented with a petition with 10,000 names on it.
Get elected ... get re-elected ... go where they think the votes are. Some people sell their bodies for a dollar, our city council sells what little integrity it has left - for a vote.
