Well, there goes any quick resolution to our tunnel problems. We’re now going to study alternatives that have been studied to death. I don’t recall Richmond electing any NDP candidates.
I don’t care whether it’s a bridge or a tunnel, just that we get it quickly. But that’s not going to happen with contracts and bids cancelled.
Likely, the Pattullo replacement will take priority, and any start on construction to alleviate the tunnel headache will await a future election.
