Letters: Thankful for living in Richmond

Dear Editor, I see many positive and negative comments published about the fast-paced development that has happened and is still happening in Richmond.

Dear Editor,

I see many positive and negative comments published about the fast-paced development that has happened and is still happening in Richmond.

Having travelled to many countries around the globe, when I come back home, I am  thankful for all the facilities and development we enjoy in our beautiful city.

With well-maintained parks, excellent trails, good schools, tourist spots, pools, senior centres, fitness clubs, walking tracks and a world-class library, what else would a community ask for?

Each evening it makes me happy when I see how families enjoy walking together on the Minoru tracks and I also can’t wait for the highly anticipated swimming pools and seniors’ centre to open up.

So I just wanted to be thankful and say a big thank you to all community members, volunteers and city officials who are ensuring that we continue to make sure Richmond prospers in line with global developments.
