Letters: Thank you for the work experience delivering the Richmond News

Letter writer said his teacher encouraged him to continue his paper route.

Dear Editor,

My name is Yves Hu, and I am a 10-year-old boy studying at James McKinney Elementary School.

I am proud of myself for helping the community by delivering newspapers, and I feel sad that this job has ended.

I started delivering newspapers two years ago.

Initially, it was frustrating because I had to deliver newspapers in any weather condition.

After a while, I understood that other jobs are way more challenging than this.

My teacher encouraged me to keep doing this job because she said this is a tremendous experience for my future career.

Many neighbours praised me for delivering newspapers.

One of the neighbours even came to give me a snack and complimented my effort.

Thank you! Richmond News gave me many good memories, and I will keep reading the online news.

Yves Hu
