Dear Editor,
The level of speeding in Richmond has reached ridiculous heights.
Patrolling our streets for speeders should be a core duty of the RCMP.
When was the last time you saw a speed trap? 50 KPH is a joke.
Many cars and trucks are going 70 kilometres an hour and faster. With no consequences, people just go faster and faster.
While I’m at it, I’ll complain about weekend parking and stopping rules.
Why are cars allowed to park in the outside lanes of arterial roads on weekends, which effectively cuts capacity in half?
Light traffic on Saturday and Sunday hasn’t been a thing for decades. Change the regulations!
