Dear Editor,
Many thanks to Angela and Chris Dinnell for making us aware of the need for warm clothes for the Richmond Homeless Shelter and for organizing a drop-off location.
Previously, like many, I had assumed that with all the surplus clothing donated to the various thrift stores that this need would have been met.
When made aware, the community overwhelmingly responded and filled the gap.
And thanks to the Richmond News for publicizing it.
