Dear Editor,
The 2017 Election is over and I am humbled by the honour of being re-elected to again serve the voters of Richmond-Steveston as their MLA. This was an intensive campaign and I want to thank my amazing team of volunteers who helped me earn this honour.
I also want to thank my family for their love, understanding and support.
Most of all, I thank the thousands of constituents who welcomed me at their doorsteps, and provided thoughtful, honest feedback which I have taken to heart as guidance for my work for Richmond-Steveston. And I commit to reach out for guidance for this new term — and to continue to be accessible to all.
Finally, I commend all candidates, those who were successful and those who were not, for participating in this democratic process.
As the newly re-elected MLA for Richmond-Steveston I look forward to fighting for our beloved community so that it continues to be the great place that it is to live, work, play — and raise a family.
