The election is now history but the campaign tactics of the Chinese media in Richmond are suspect at best.
The reported rumours of drugs and prostitution hardly match the current proliferation of massage parlours and mahjong dens in Richmond.
This reporting was obviously for the benefit of the Chinese community. It would be interesting to know who put them up to it.
Were they treated to a bowl of shark fin soup from Wong’s kitchen as a sign of gratitude? However, with the Liberals getting a majority, the Conservative win in Richmond Centre becomes a shark with no fin.
